Lovely to hear from you. Regretfully I have had to pull out of the retreat as I have been feeling a bit off colour recently (pressure of work!) so reluctantly decided that I would be best served by having a few quiet days at home, practising and tuning in with you all in Oxford. Hope you have a wonderful retreat. All the more reason for you to let me know next time you are over this way so that we can meet up for that promised chat! Hope all is well with you.
Thank you very much Sujatin! This is a wonderful web site - and I will definitely begin having a regular Monday night practice. I will also look at the Amida Academy - that sounds VERY interesting! Amitoufo! _/\_
Thank you Sujatin, I had a bit of confusion with the emails but I think its all sorted now! I look forward to meeting you when I'm back, and I will have a browse on this website in the mean time- it looks very interesting!

Hi Sujatin, thank you very well for your suggestion. I'm also very happy to have a message of you, I remember very well the good days we had together one year ago and hope there will come an other time to see each other again. Maybe you will come to Belgium one or another day ? I'm not on facebook, so can't see the news there....
I had a difficult year, buth it ended very well with an ordonation, so now we are sisters....
hi--- sorry i didnt get right back with you, i have gotten behind in everything.. working over time 6 days a week. this computer is dying, i'm working on building another while trying to keep this one running...
thank you for the friend request,..i am sorry to hear about your illness. i would like to share some information with you about Kombucha. it is a Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast.. (SCOBY) it is said to be more effective than Interferon against virus. it has been used against auto immune problems and numerous health conditions for literally 1000's of years. it is also symbiotic to humans, it depends on us to propagate it, and we have kept it alive for over 2000 years. the ancient Chinese called it.."the elixir of immortality". i culture it in the Continuous Culture Method.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZYqFBXY-nM
just use glass to culture in, the finished tea is vinegary, dilute with juice.. you don't need ph paper, when it tastes like vinegar it is done. the sun tea jars are about $6-7. and real handy.. when it is done you drain off all but 2" inches .. fill with new tea solution. when there gets to be 4 layers, empty, separate back to 1, fill with tea. probably every 2-3 months. also try Water Kefir.. it cultures in 2 days, use a smaller jar. i add 1/8 tsp vegan liquid vitamin/mineral to mine with new Kombucha tea. start out with about 2-3 oz, if your intestinal track has bad cultures occupying it it will take a few days till they get chased out of town.. when you feel you can take more try a little more. i drink at least a cup 3-4 times a day with my meals. i feel great, i had been taking antibiotics and it really messed up my intestinal flora.
it is just 1 cup white sugar, 6-8 black tea bags, 1 gallon of water... i use 6 blk tea bags 4 green tea bags.. i use a ceramic crock like you put 5 gallon water bottles on with a levered spigot.. i just had one we didn't use anymore.. i got a culture on ebay, get a large one 4" or larger, i have 8 that are 7" i'm trying to give away ..but this is the South and i'll probably end up feeding them to the dogs.
i will chant Medicine Buddha for you. Good Journey.. Gary
Hi everyone,I'm interested in how different people understand 'other power' and how they feel it affects their lives and practice. I suspect there is a spectrum that goes from "Have a sense of Amida…Continue
