That's a great idea about a children's page - why not set up a group

Helen, it was lovely to spend more time with you on the course block. thank you for my beautiful shrine picture, it will continue to remind me of taking refuge and it helps me to re-connect with that very special feeling. I hope things go well in the new forest and that you have a safe flight back home. lots of love, Namo Amida Bu x

I was hoping it was the same one! so glad you liked it. I've been absolutely exhausted the last 3 days - just about to get back into the distance learning now I've got some energy back. Hope you've enjoyed your time with your parents - I heard there is snow in Hampshire this morning so maybe you saw some? we had heavy showers of it yesterday but it's all gone today! E x

Hi Helen - just happened to notice your message to Hussam about the Namo Amituofo chant - take a look at http://www.amitabha-gallery.org/chants_amitabha.htm - I think the first link on the page is what you were looking for (although you get background music as well as the chanting....). You can right click to download as an mp3. It's a lovely site anyway, with some beautiful pictures. Love, E xx

Dear Helen,
Nice to have you on Ning and as Hussam wrote in this way keep in contact with Amida's Light. Forgot to ask you when you are leaving back to home.
It was nice meeting you at the course block.

Hi Helen,
I'll be going to the Buddhist Retreat Centre in Ixopo, KZN, in a few days. I'll be one of 5 staff member concerned with the daily running of the centre. I'll set up a tiny library, do amin, house keeping, care for guests and some very basic meditation instruction if people want.
the centre is very very beautiful and busy: a different retreat each weekend. Its the oldest Buddhist centre in SA.

very best wishes
Namo Amida Bu
