Dear Modgala, spoke with Orna and she has recommended that i ask you more about Amida in Africa, as well as about the Buddhist women conference. Could you please write a few lines? Send me a few links? Thanks
Thank you so much for contacting me way back when...
I apologize for answering so late. My computer went down right after I joined this group.
What an interesting life you have led and are leading. I've been tempted to join in the way you did. But I also realize that I HAVE joined, the larger mass of humanity, helping them to see more clearly and develop as human beings. Which takes up my life at the moment, the work is deep for me. I am a teacher at a highschool in Hawai'i to an American generation of somewhat lost and confused teens. It's only a phase in American culture, I am hoping and praying. :)
Myself and best friends will be at Kaju Samye Ling Monestary tommorow,
Sunday 12th April at 10 am 'Earth time' for a special ceremony.
Please send blessings to us or 'metta' if possible to get us through
Best Wishes and thank you for friendship
Hello Modgala, thank you for the invite to the london events. I would love to know whats going on and hopefully will make one or two of the days coming up soon. So your an psychology student too...good to hear, we can have many conversations about that. Thanks again.
I posted an email to you...re; our London visit. Did you recieve it Modgala? or has it gone missing (sometimes happens from the Bahamas, don't really understand why!)
Kindest regards Fiona
I will be delighted to join this group and look forward to seeing you if you come to Melbourne. In my case very soon I intend to visit Malaysia and learn about the ways of Malaysian Buddhism and also do a small Retreat whilst I am there. The bush fires in Melbourne are now behind us but the devastation and loss of life has been devastating for many people. The public have raised much money through fund raising and this has been supported by the Government and so it is hoped that soon this part of Australia will return to its normal condition. Thank you for thinking of me and should you need any help or advice about your planned visit or other matters please contact me. Warm regards to you-Anthony
I am hoping to visit John Zulu in Zambia in the next few weeks. Please could you tell me how to get there and if there is a telephone number I can reach him on before I leave Malawi. Many thanks, Namo Amida Bu Helen
Hello Modgala and thank you for your warm welcome. It is a pleasure for me to have found this site. I am not familiar with Buddhist activities in London but I do know that some years ago I started teaching people in Belarus to become meditation teachers within Zen and Theravadan traditions. I now believe that one of my students is now teaching classes in the UK and for this I am very pleased and wish her well. I am sure that the economic conditions in the UK are causing many people a lot of stress and uncertainty.Thank you again and may you always be well and peaceful and happy.
