If you don't stay at a hotel or eat at the conference, then you should be able to attend any of it. If you can go to Van Hanh University, I know they have posters with details on them. That should help.

I am coming to Vietnam in June and staying until the end of August. Then, I will be returning to Vietnam for December 28, possibly with Prasada Caroline Brazier, for the 11th Sakyadhitha Conference in Ho Chi Minh City. The Conference is for Buddhist women and nuns. It would be wonderful if you could come to the Conference to meet Buddhist women from all over the world, and from different traditions (Tibetan, Sri Lanka, American, Australian, Canadian, Taiwan, Korea, Sweden, Germany, etc., etc.). If you are interested, let me know, and I will send you the information as soon as I receive it.

Đối với tham lam, tức giận, vv, đây là những chất độc trong 3 cảnh báo rằng Ðức Phật đối với chúng tôi và gây ra đau khổ cho chúng tôi trong đời sống của chúng ta. Đi theo thời gian để thiền mỗi ngày, thậm chí nếu suy nghĩ của bạn không được tốt. Sau đó, mỗi khi một ý nghĩ, cảm giác, hoặc cảm giác phát sanh, chỉ cần nhãn nó suy nghĩ, hoặc sensing, hay tức giận / buồn bã / niềm vui, mà không cần xét xử nó hoặc chính bạn. I hope you don't think that my Vietnamese isn't bad, because I have been using a translator on Google. I don't know how well it translates. My Vietnamese is very bad.

As for the greed, anger, etc., these are the 3 poisons that the Buddha warned us against and which cause us suffering in our lives. Take the time to meditate every day, even if your thoughts are not good. Then every time a thought, sensation, or feeling arises, just label it thinking, or sensing, or anger/sadness/joy, without judging it or yourself. Then go back to the object of your meditation - either your breath, or chanting A Di Da Phat. The important thing to remember is that there isn't one person on the planet, including the Buddha, who did not have the same difficulties as you. This the the Mara, which we must face rather than run away from.
