Well hear I am again ensconced in our flat in Delhi, busy working my way through, things to do, while being duly visited by old friends and Sanga members. As you can see the internet is now reconnected and I now have a new Indian sim for my phone. Everything seems to stop working while I'm in England and this year water was the main problem. We in the west take for granted a continuous supplyand the only tap that was working was supplied by the tank on the roof and the water only fit for washing floors and flushing the toilet. To make matters worse the water filter was broken and none of the shops local had bottled water.Prakash had to go on his motor bike to secure us a large 20 litre bottle.2 taps are now replaced 3rd due tonight when Prakash gets back from his first day at his new job.Dan is settling in well, taking it all in his stride and is proving to be an excellent cook and companion. Thursday we are going to lunch at Suvidyas' new house where there is a place for us to teach the children without bothering the neighbours. Having been contactedby a delegation from Laxmi Gardens, where we taught last year, we will begin teaching there again on Friday. Also having been visited by Mudan Mohan, we will begin teaching there on Sunday afternoon.I will need a bit more time to draw up a full new timetable but things are looking promising.
