Friends of Amida - Spiritual Networking -

Welcome to the first in a series of Podcasts from Amida Trust. Subscribe to the .rss feed with your reader to make sure you recieve the latest teachings.

We begin with a Dharma talk, given by Dharmavidya, as part of our autumn training period in The Buddhist House last year, in which he talks about Dharma as Practice. The unfolding drama of our lives, and of the Buddhas lives. Buddhism must be something we do, not something we study, or claim to be.

"We may say that most important principle in Pureland Buddhism is faith, but faith that does not show in our actions, is not really faith at all...empty...meaningless".

Thank you Kaspalita, now I can practice where ever with my reminders at hand (or in Nano). Just thought as I travel on trains so much and use my gift from Richarda a Nano ipod, I shall download a picture or two of Amida Buddha plus these Dharma talks and then I have my light weight travelling "Namo" ipod!

If you right click and choose 'save as' you can save the files to your PC and then copy them wherever to an mp3 player or ipod, for example.

Dear Dharmavidya,
Welcome back home and it sounds like you have both had some lovely experiences in NA. I have just been listening to one of your podcasts and find them very helpful to me and would like to know if they can be downloaded. I would like to be able to listen to them away from my PC work station! if it is possible would you pass on the "how to" please, thanks.
