Dear friends, We are happy to tell you that yesterday, on Friday 31 July 2009 (beginning at 15:00 in the afternoon), we conducted a full (2 hours long) Pureland Service. As far as we know, this one has been the first Amida- Shu service to have taken place here in Israel. Six women attended the service, so together we were 8. Dear friends One aspect of my work with the Sudanese refugees is to get to know them and to hear their stories. I believe it is important to let them tell their stories, to write it down and in this way to enable others to hear it too. I got permission from the people whose stories I tell here.
