This group is for discussing and developing ideas about mentoring, especially in the context of Amida-shu. What does/should it consist of? What is useful? What are we learning about it?

I know one fairy tale where there is a princess who is very proud, thinking just about herself. The prince from neigbourhood, who she refused to marry just by looking at his picture, changed his identity and became a gardener in royal garden of the…

Hi Joan, I'd just like to say I love the fox cub in the plant pot! Your a whizz at getting JUST the right photo. I really agree that just knowing the wildlife is there is enough. We don't always need to be looking under logs or poking about disturb…

I believe a garden becomes a healing garden when we have a personal relationship with it. What I mean by this is the possibility of talking to the plants, flowers, trees. They respond by growing and bringing fruits and flowers. So, any piece of land…

Toyo I do agree with you - something about caring for plants as living things is very fulfilling ( I somehow equate being fulfilled with being healed). Caring for others generally is of course very fulfilling if we get it right, but plants are easy…

Hi Tony - Just wanted to say that I really enjoyed your presence on the course block last week. I also loved the singing night which you contributed to with some sensitively timed maraca playing! So thanks too for that.
Hope you are feeling much better,

Hi Tony,

I hope this reaches you hale and enjoying your garden! As I write I gaze out of the window at ours - Ruth's little spring border is jumping with colour already. (She's the real gardener in this house, I tend to do the donkey work, fetching and carrying.) Nonetheless, I'm proud of how our little garden (60' X 20' (ish)) looks and sadly get more than a frisson of superiority gazing at my neighbours from this upstairs view!
I may make it to Modgala's relaxation/meditation group on Thursday depending on how wacked I feel after work. The trouble is it's a bit too effective and it's hard to drag myself off home afterwards! I'm really enjoying the returning warm weather and the accompanying birdlife etc.

Hi Tony,
SJP = St James Church Piccadilly. I worked there for a while as a volunteer stuffing envelopes etc for the London branch of the Creation Spirituality (nothing to do with 'creationism') movement, now known as 'Greenspirit'.

Best wishes.

Hi Tony, We met first at the the Fear retreat in Sukhavati then subsequently at the meditation and relaxation evening - I had wanted to come last thursday but I was nackered after a tough volunteer day at the park. Anyway hopefully will make it tomorrow. I'm having a ball buzzing round this website, so much interesting stuff. I must take a look at your Healing Garden site. Hope this finds you well.

One little hint - there are two little buttons at the extreme top left - an envelope and a little person - they are worth checking from time to time since if people message you or send friend invites that's where they appear. Namo Amida Bu.
