This group is for discussing and developing ideas about mentoring, especially in the context of Amida-shu. What does/should it consist of? What is useful? What are we learning about it?
Hi Teresa, I'm not sure - I don't think it's anything from this end, but I can't imagine exactly what you describe. Can you give me any more information?
Hi Teresa,
I'm thinking it would be good to "catch up". How did you become interest in Amida and are you involved in any of the programs? I was thinking it would be nice to have a regular connection. I found the Pureland Buddhist Practice quite refreshing and am going to follow when I get organized. I have continued with Vajrayana practices but seems time to move from those. My birthday is on Thurs. and I'm meeting my sister in Stratford. I don't have any further plans to visit London. Maybe I could look at coming some time with having a visit with you. Warm regards, Diane
Hi, Teresa,.... could you email me at mantismike@start.ca as there is a student at Western who is looking for a therapist. She would like to see a therapist who is spiritual and you came to mind...
Thanks for the email. Yes, it is a wonder that we have not met before. I was actually born and raised in St. Thomas, but have spent most of my adult life in London. Currenlty, I run various classes out of Trinity United Church at the corner of Doulton and Hale, just south of Dundas. As my profile indicates, I love all three religions of Buddhism, Christianity and Daoism, however, my current function is Buddhist priest.
Thank you for the message. It's really cold today - snow even. I completely forgot about Groundhog day. They have Candlemas day here (though it's not something that most people celebrate) and I suppose because it never really gets as cold as it does in Ontario there is no danger of a prolonged winter.
We're just getting ready for our Sunday service so I'd better go.
Hope you have a wonderful birthday with much joy and love.

We're experiencing a cold snap here at the moment but not nearly as cold as it gets in Ontario.
I've put a link to the world clock to help with the time change.
Not long til the Braziers' visit - I heard that events in Vancouver have been going well.
