How lovely to hear from you. I, too, have been thinking of you and James, my bowing partner.For me, the sesshin has been quite meaningful with depth in my heart and bones. David has quite a cold that has progressed daily. Today, he has been in bed for the day. Being at a familar place, your cottage sounds like just where you needed to be this year. Your experience of stopping and listening to what you need to get back into a more centred space sounds very self nurturing. When you are going through such difficult times, you do what you have to do. I remember some of those times during my mothers journey toward death.
