Passion, Nembutsu and Diego Garcia
I was looking forward to the 24 hour nembutsu this year, but in the end I didn’t make it. At the gathering at The Buddhist House the following morning Prasada picked up on the energy of my veiled reference to what I had been doing instead: ‘was I having a passionate affair?’ – I quickly said ‘no’ but then realised it was ‘yes’…What was the alternative passion that kept me awake late at night but not chanting nembutsu?

Thank you very much for the offer to stay - I'm torn between extreme attachment to my own bed and the thought of not having to drive over the Snake Pass in the dark. I'll let you know next weekend if that's ok. Really looking forward to seeing you and meeting everyone else and practising together.
