Steve Durham replied to Sujatin's discussion Overcoming Weakness and Discovering No Birth ~ Dharmavidya in the group Buddhist Teaching by Dharmavidya
"What exactly is the teaching/doctrine of no-birth? I can only come at that through Thich Nhat Hanh: there is no-thing to be born ... only causes and conditions out of which a transient reality emerges.  And that reality is ultimately all…"

Steve Durham commented on Sujatin's group Monday Nembutsu
"I watch the flowers open up every spring -- and even in chilly semi-wintery Chicago the flowers are coming up -- and invariably think of the Buddha's Flower Sermon. No wonder he picked a flower to hold up.  Namo Amida Bu _/\_"
