Dear Dharma Friends

Many people in the Delhi/UP border regions of India are currently suffering fever, some the more potentially dangerous and fatal virus dengue. A number of members of the Amida group based in the area of Shanti Nagar have fallen ill and at least one, Amida shu member Rakesh has been…

Thank you for friending :)

I've started reading Dharmavidya's "Who loves, dies well" and will get on to "Not Everything is Impermanent" and Caroline's "The Other Buddhism".

I'm obviously still a wee bit stuck in 'intellectualism" and have restrained myself within a secular approach to zen... but, without a long ramble, it's feeling liberating (stripping back the skins of the onion of self) to get back to a fundamental sense of faith that there is more.

On a recent trip to Liverpool, my son found in a shop a button badge simply stating "Love and peace are eternal" and thought of me (he bought me that, I bought him a Sponge Bob Square-Pants one) - I wear it with love/humility/well-being/faith. Goes well with my yellow Doctor Marten boots :)

Will contribute more to the sangha.

Hi once again.

Thanks for the reply. Actually I have been busy with my tea garden so I was not aware about your visit to lakwa. Thanks to the amida trust site through which we are in touch though. I am very glad that you remember us and our “simple request something from England”. My cousin brother Prasun and  I often talk about you. Next time when you come to visit lakwa I am sure that we will meet you.

God bless you my Friend

Dear Jnañamati

You asked me a question where I work in Hungary. My workplace is  an Institute for  Misuse Patients in Budapest, I work there as a qualified social worker. I lead drugprevention groups for them. We speak and play scenes about  drugdependency, this is the main part of the life of our patients. There I lead an impovisation theatre for them and for other people who like  improvisation scenes. We apply  buddhist terms  in these occassions, we play scenes used buddhist ideas, eg Paramitas, Four Noble Truths, etc. This kind of play called Dharma Stage if you would  interested about it, I can inform you.
May I ask you what is your favourite job or hobby? best wishes Sandor
