Hi Rachel....Happy Bodhi Day !! I know you won't get this until you get back, but I guess every day is a Bodhi Day.....we are all changing all the time in our myriad forms of freedom.....Love, Ratnacitta x
Thanks Rachel.......Kate's doing a lot better now, thanks. She's enjoying being with her lovely cats again - hospital didn't agree with her !!
Take care,
Ratnacitta
Rachel, just to let you know that I haven't metamorphasized !!!! In one sense i have though.....Ratnacitta is a Dharma name I adopted about 5 years ago, and so there we are.....new name for my page on Ning too!
The fiddle's sounding GREAT !!! I'm so pleased with it.....
On the subject of Tara, if you are interested, I can recommend a beautiful and very carefully researched book by Vessantara called 'Female Deities in Buddhism'....it has a lovely section on Kuan-Yin who smiled with us the other evening.........
Hello Rachel......Just a wee note to say a deep 'thank you' for the warm welcome at the sanctuary last night - I felt so at home.....you are both so very kind, and Tashi excelled himself !!.....Namo Amida Bu.......
Thanks for your kind words, Rachel....the warmth of the Amida sangha is as inspiring as it is uplifting....bless you.....Gosh, yes lots and lots to say about Tara......She is the mother of the Buddhas....and is very much an active 'helper' to her devotees.....direct Dharma love in action, you might say !!
Namo Amida Bu !! Om Tare Tam Soha !!
Hi Rachel.......hope you are well......I'm hoping to make it to an Amida meeting before too long, but as usual, busy schedules are a challenge....Just a thought on your reference to the 'Spiritual Arrow' in your e mail to me......Red Tara holds a bow and arrow made of delicate lotus leaves.......you might want to talk about it to her !! Wow, Peru and Costa Rico. Do take pictures and send them along. We've often considered going to Peru. Have a most wonderful time...and don't work too hard. I will look forward to hearing from you upon your return.
