About Me:
I'm icalled Nina Wara, which in Aymara means 'fire star'. I was born an have lived most of my life in La Paz-Bolivia. I came to the UK to study dance and I have now finished the course, after 3 years. I am interested in improvisation, not only as a form of dance but as a way of exercising consiousness. I am also interested in change.

Occupation or Primary Activity
mover or 'dance practitioner'
Involvement in Spirituality/Religion
I have never been formally afiliated with any religion or faith. Lately I have become interested in the notion of 'being' in the world and I am interested in what sort of being is a human being.
What is your interest in Amida Trust
I have read Brazier's 'The feeling Buddha' and that made me consider aspects of human reality in a way that I had not previously. I have been to visit the Buddhist house and had a friendly chat with the people who received us. I would like to find out more about Buddhism and see if there is any way I could contribute,

What can you offer to other members of this network?
Expertise
What other interests do you have, eg Arts, Gardening and so on.
I have studied dance for the reason that everyday movement was not enough for me. I found that, engaging with contemporary dance made my life more meaningful. During my degree I have become especially interested in movement and contact improvisation. I consider that this is a strength that I can offer, either as part of a group of people or simply by adapting movement to any other creative exploration.
