- I am a deafblind [not entirely in either] lady that has always felt the call to become a nun. With how hard it is to become a nun in Catholicism, it would seem perhaps I am meant to become a nun in Pureland Buddhism. I love to study, read, help others, websurf, chat, meditate, besides the devotional practises I do for both Catholicism and Amida Buddha.

- My involvement is so deep, I sometimes worry I don't belong in this world. I feel I'm struggling and fighting two sides of me. One side of me feels the truth of a spiritual life and wisdom, the other side of me feels the falseness of "just wanting to do whatever I please, even if its selfish". I wish I had a spiritual mentor that understood me, but could never get one.

- I am unsure, but they look like a Pureland Buddhist Order and Temple that seems to be international and online, as well as a charity. An online sangha is very helpful and accessible these days, so I appreciate it very much.

I'm being seen at the hospital next week so I hope they can get to the bottom of the lack of voice. Fortunately the guided meditation sessions at the universities where I am chaplain are continuing with the aid of CDs and Amida Newcastle is being looked after by Kuvalaya, who ordained in December.

I was suggesting that we meet at the Starbucks in on Lakeshore where the Cooper's grocery store is located. If you wanted to go to the temple to attend a service or come to the sutra chanting and book study either my wife or I would be more than willing to give you a ride. - Hi Mina, I like yourself come from a Catholic background. My wife and I still occassionally play music in Charles Garnier church in Kelowna. We are both members of the Pureland Buddhist Temple in Kelowna which is located at the corner of Borden and Gordon. There is also a website for the temple the web site is kelownabuddhisttemple.org The Sensei at the temple Rev. Yashiro Miyakawa is a good treacher of Pure Land Buddhism. At present we are engaged in a bookstudy of David Brazier's book "Who loves dies well". We read a section each morning (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) before we do our sutra chanting.I ope this information will be of use to you. Michael. Namo Amida Butsu
