Hi, Richard.... Knowing myself, as I was back then, when I was in my early to mid 20s, I suspect, if it had been a beat cop and he was taking out his frustrations on the old hippie, I still would have jumped in and likely got my self arrested. Now i…

Hi, Kenny and Richard,... In our work, it would appear that there can be as many tactics as there are situations. In some cases, to meet force with force would be fruitless as it would polarize sides. On the other hand, sometimes direct force is the…

Hi Maiku,

Sorry to keep writing but the other email I have for you doesn't seem to work and I am in need of a response in regard to whether or not you still want to host the Braziers for a retreat day on Sunday January 17th? If you are no longer interested I would like to invite them to give a day long Pureland retreat. If this is the case I will heed to find an appropriate space sooner than later. Please consider this and write when you can.

peace,
Teresa

Hi Maiku,

I hope this email find you well. Maiku, I am wondering if you are still interested in having the Braziers to your church to speak on Engaged Buddhism on January 17th? If so, will it be open to the public? Are you thinking of a day long event? I am hoping they might extend their visit and do some teaching on Pureland Buddhism as well. (We've invited them to stay at our home for as long as they like.) My husband and I had the good fortune of spending two weeks at Amida France this summer and came home quite inspired.

Please let me know your thoughts. Also, would it be helpful to get together for a coffee?

peace,
Teresa

Hello Maiku,

I thought it time to introduce myself. I'm actually shocked we have never come across one another. I too live in London, ON and have been teaching the Dharma here for 10 years. I have been studying with Amida Trust on and off again for 8 years. I too am ordained, firstly in a Chrsitian tradition (I was the chaplain for 10 years at UWO) and now as a Buddhist. I'd love to learn more about what you do and who you do it with. What a small world.

peace,
Teresa
