Welcome to Friends of Amida. Do have a look around - there is a lot happening on this site - in fact it is very dynamic. Do have a look at the different sections of the Main Page - see the listing of other members by region, the things one can do, the various literature and so on. Also check out the 'Groups' - there are discussions on many interesting topics. When you start to make friends and feel at ease, do put some more information onto your profile - pictures, etc, so we can get to know you better. This is a very friendly group of people. I hope you enjoy your experience here. If I can help, do message me. Warm wishes and welcome!

I see Amida Trust bringing the 2 together, or are they mutually exclusive? ie the here and now focus on breath of Zazen implies continuity and oneness, whereas the 'other- power' of Amida can be seen…Continue

The prison of the question of "liking or not liking"

Started by Katrien Sercu in Amida Trust & Amida-shu Development. Last reply by Robert McCarthy Apr 30. 9 Replies

It is surprising how a question, which was a step forwards earlier in life becomes an ennoying limitation that, in good moments, can evoke a smile in me as it is really a funny and stupid question.…Continue
