- I am a lay resident of the Buddhist House. I have 2 degrees and a diploma (mainly in Literature). I moved here after a long process where I appeared to reach the 'end of the line'.

- I am originally from a Sikh background. I have 'grown into' the Buddhist viewpoint over the past several years. I mainly favour the Mahayana forms of Buddhism and the Pureland view can seem a bit of a relief after the other types. I also attend services at the Buddhist House and attend lectures in the Vow 22 program.

- Its open approach to Buddhism in general and its willingness to engage with other faiths and perspectives. Also its wide range of community and therapeutic work.
