I am originally from a Sikh background. I have 'grown into' the Buddhist viewpoint over the past several years. I mainly favour the Mahayana forms of Buddhism and the Pureland view can seem a bit of a relief after the other types. I also attend services at the Buddhist House and attend lectures in the Vow 22 program.

Its open approach to Buddhism in general and its willingness to engage with other faiths and perspectives. Also its wide range of community and therapeutic work.
