It's an excellent film, isn't it, not only in its own right but also as a back story to what's going on in Tibet right now and what the Chinese attitude is? I never see it without shedding a few tears. One of the parts that always moves me most is when the Tibetan women come to see His Holiness shortly before he leaves. Although they are speaking in Tibetan through their tears, their anguish - and love for him - are all too evident.
