Creating a working alliance is important both in providing the safety within which honest interaction can happen and in providing a screen on which habitual behaviours can be enacted. A walk

In the morning I walk the children to school. Our dog Balou goes with us.Balou needs to go to the toilet and I have my plastic bag with me. Sometimes the cleaning is not so well done andI have some Sh on my finger top. David said "what are you doing?", after I torn down a leave from a plant along the path. "Well, I have Sh on my hand and want to clean it". "Oh, yes and then you put your hand in your pocket!"  No, David I will not. I go home and wash my hands. So I said and so I did, when I came…See More

Hi Gerald - Thanks for thinking of me! Things are fine - nice to see the children again etc.
How has it been for you, returning home without the heavy bag you arrived with?
Go gently - Hussam x

Hi Gerald. Sorry not to have been with you this week, but enjoying Dutch sunshine at Den Haag. Another time maybe... Would be nice to see you and Margreeth anyway, even if there is no event. Are you coming to the family week in France?

Hi Gerald,

thanks for the link, but what a messy site! Anyway, it seems like a very interesting field, something I will definately keep in mind. At the moment I feel sufficiently busy as it is though...

Hope you are well and transitioning smoothly after the course.

Hallo old friend,

enlightened or bombu?

Started by Thomas Myojo Radcliffe in Buddhist Teaching. Last reply by Robert McCarthy May 7. 9 Replies

Other-power or Zazen?

Started by Dr Di in Amida Trust & Amida-shu Development. Last reply by Thomas Myojo Radcliffe May 5. 19 Replies

The prison of the question of "liking or not liking"

It is surprising how a question, which was a step forwards earlier in life becomes an ennoying limitation that, in good moments, can evoke a smile in me as it is really a funny and stupid question.…Continue
