Dear Friends:

Thank you all for your gracious and heartfelt comments. I am glad if I have been of even a little help to you in your journey. We are all on the path in one way or another. Unfortunately the situation does not permit me to easily respond to individual comments. I am now trying to develop a physical exercise routine since I have great difficulty walking and it has put constraints on my time since I have some obligations which I am trying to meet. I am sure you understand… Continue

Hi Dr. Bloom:

We have been in contact off and on. You know me as Tom De Mann from Las Vegas. I use my Buddhist name of Seiyo. I see that you recently joined the friends of amida. It is an honor that you have joined our group. You are a welcomed addition.

Such a Bright Dawn in the west ... your kind words to our Bright Dawn Lay Ministry class (over 2 years now!) both inspired and humbled me. Every sermon I give, and every word I write, is mindful of your teaching. Domo Arrigato!

Hello Dr. Bloom,

So happy to see you here! I have a very soft spot in my heart for you :). You are the conduit that brought me to Shinran and Pureland Buddhism in a deep way - through your guest speaker appearance with the Bright Dawn Lay Ministry program last year. I continue to study and submerge myself in Shinran, your books, your website, the Pureland Sutras - and all things Pureland. I am thrilled to see you in this community!

A deep bow to you!
