Amida France

the peace coming from this place,
I got to know you -
precious, sublime, danger, boring, full, empty,
I can’t quiet my mind obsessed with many things,
another attempt of taming it doesn’t succeed,
it is again over;

my lonely heart, my friend,
beat more
despite my-self,
despite my world

lost memory

I forget about you,
you full of cracks,
your foolishness served on the plate in front of you,
and you had accepted it and asked others for help.

I forget about you,
tears are covering my face,
you are still here,
as well the love which you received,
how I could forget about you?

child

who wants to be protected in a way suitable for him
who wants to be safe and lazy
who wants to be in a control of the world, of the others

there is no future for this child

this is sad, this is not sad
this is disappointing, this is opening
this is me, this is not me

Bodhi retreat

…. nothing changed, everything changed ....

24 Hours chanting was wonderful, it seemed to be very short, after the end I wanted to start again … but I knew it was just attempt to escape from myself.
Silence in the end …. all nembutsu in the air materialised to thick, fluffy white blanket which was falling on all people in the meditation hall.

Bodhi retreat was very full, a lot of practice, seminars, dharma talks, dharma discussions and ceremonies. I was lucky, I took active part in two of the… Continue

Exile and return

Today we had a retreat day. We were thinking of Honen’s exile. We did a lot of practise.

Very special day, like the air we are breathing. Morning nei quan focused upon the air, upon our dependency on the air. Afternoon nei quan brought other layer to it. What does the air, like all objects around us, mean to us? There are two options: attractiveness of the object and spiritual danger. The first one reflects how the object supports us, how we are dependent on the object, the second includes all… Continue

Hello Sumaya, what a wunderful photos: all different aspects of Amida France. Thanks...it brings this beautiful place near to my heart, that gets more open by seeing this!
You are a poet...that's your language. Namo Amida Bu.
I take care for my grandchild Lisa (10 months) for 3 days: lessons in trust and joy and surrender. It's good to see that this is possible in life...I did not know that. Amida is so real when I may live in the atmosphere of Lisa. I wanted this for all children and all people, but life is life: just as it is...Warm greetings!

Ey, Sumaya!!
Thanks, although France is so far from China, the power of this sophisticated technical thing made possible that last night I felt like truely transported to France and be with you by way of the chat. Last year I stayed for a few days in a Tibetan monastic center also in France, and I can't forget the landscape, the food and the good company. so yesterday, chatting with you...
Also, how surprising life is sometimes... You said you were going to make dinner... and later I learned that you are in one group about cooking... Today I remembered my mother, who died less than two years ado, how her life, the most loving expression she had of herself, was just that: cooking, the day-after-day ingrate work of cooking, and I was never able to fully appreciate, less even express gratitude, for that her commitment to cooking. Only in her very last years of life, and especially after her death, I have truely understood the meaning and value of cooking and knowing how to be a good cook. This kind of memmory, you have brought to me only by spending a couple of minutes chatting from the beautiful France...
Thanks, Sumaya. I hope we can exchange more in the future.
