We are currently starting to plan our travels for 2009 and may well go to USA/Canada in January-February. If you are in North America and interested in being part of this tour in some way - organising local events or whatever - do get in touch.
Keep in mind a possibility for a retreat or workshop at the ABC here. I can and will make arrangements on this end, and trust that you will do your thing, an excellent and rare opportunity once again to come together and learn.
Thanks very much for all your work and all your play!
Your friend,

That sounds interesting. I don't think we can make it this January as our schedule is now pretty full but how about trying to get something together for 2010? I'm not good on US geography. Are you anywhere near Naropa?
My college's Buddhist group is associated with the town meditation center and Triple Gem of the North (led by a Sri Lankan monk, but our approach is universalist). If Minnesota is an option for you I can get in touch with them and see what they would be interested in hosting.
Thanks for the offer. It would be lovely to visit Minnesota. I think we would probably need to wait till our next trip now as our schedule is pretty tight, but if you are interested in inviting us in January 2010, keep us posted.

I'm not sure if your plans include Southwestern Ontario, but if they do I'd be happy to try and set something up in London Ontario. We don't have a retreat facility but I have used the university and find it a satisfactory setting for lectures, workshops, etc. Also, you are most welcome to stay at our home.
Hamilton is a 1.5-2 hour easy drive down the highway. I don't know if you are familiar with Ontario? If you are London is 2 hours west of Toronto or east of Windsor down the 401 corridor. We are 1 hour west of Kitchener. I don't know if you'll have time to come to London but if you don't I would love to connect with you in Hamilton.
I just found this thread. Are you still planning a weekend event in Hamilton in February? I am in Rochester, NY. It's about a 2-1/2 drive to Hamilton, so depending upon the weather (can be fierce in February), it may be a possibility for me to make the trip.
