I’m so grateful for the box of local vegetables from Blairgowrie, that appears on the bench beside my front door....: : link

My new job is physically demanding. Namo Amida Bu helps to keep me aware of my emotions so they don't over-boil.

Last week I got upset looking at the Last Judgement window in Birmingham Cathedral. This week I looked at the windows and it looked to me as if Jesus and the saints are standing in a giant lotus pool.

In a recent radio podcast a young woman expert at mountain climbing and "flying" in a winged-suit discussed her way of living dangerously, the program's topic. It takes a high commitment; in this case having a double meaning. She said that mountain climbing is all about suffering the endurance of "hanging on." Just the opposite is to fly off a mountain side in a winged-suit means the suffering of "letting go" to enjoy the flight. Rather thought provoking metaphors for life.

Very busy in the city, but Namo Amida Bu makes the trees reappear. I pruned Ingalls Grimoldby Greengage so it won't get silver leaf. Love in the Mist in all shades, deepest violet-blue to white.

_/\_

Sun is shining, flowers everywhere, while still young enough - working with hands, legs, arms, muscles doing what needs to be done

the grass is smelling, the ground is rough

nature calls me, "hello, come and be one off us, walking in the sun and shine, shine, shine..."
