Introduction

The Digha Nikaya is a collection of suttas - words of the Buddha - compiled in the Pali language. These suttas include some of the best known stories and teachings and many powerful images and descriptions of the Dharma. We host a reading of a portion of the Digha Nikaya in our Stura Study Class at The Buddhist House commencing 7pm or a little after each Monday evening. You are welcome to follow the class live or to watch the recordings as they appear here and add comments and discussion.

Hi all I enjoy listening to the discussions but some of the time I can't hear the discussion very well and I miss many of the points, but thank you Susthama for posting the link to the Maha-parinibbana sutta as it has meant I have been able to read it. I am currently working my way through the discussions and would welcome any input I have just read last weeks section 'the last days of the Buddha' but couldn't hear the discussion when I listened in.
