Susthama discusses how she first came to be involved with Amida Trust. While coming from a Buddhist country she had not seen this as relevant to how she lived her life and how she feels she is a very different person now after many years of being involved with our Trust.

Susthama travelled for many years living in different cultures and looking for meaning in ways of living. She realised now she was searching for liberation.  While living in London she rediscovered Buddhism and was looking for an end to suffering.  From her subsequent time with Amida Trust  Susthama found how faith is the underlying condition that nourishes her journey in life.  “unless you have fallen in love with compassion, fallen in love with kindness, your brain can’t work it out”
