Digesting the 5th LBC.
This is a space for comments and so on, about the conference just gone.
Personally I had a great time, despite all the worry before hand, also now that I've experienced the conference, I feel much more committed to making the next one equally as good, or better.
I really hope that the discussions and conversations don't finish now the conference is over. I know we've been talking some more about economics here at TBH.
Personally I was stimulated by the arts events and workshops, so we'll see what comes out of that, I hope to write up a longer article today on the arts and spirituality, which I'll post in one of the groups.
After Alan and Dharmavidya's panel, in the small group discussions we talked about how things might go forward, and how that might be measured, in light of hearing about the experiences of other conferences where resolutions are made and then nothing is done - perhaps in the pre-conference gathering next time we can pick up on some of the themes of this conference and see where they led? Or even before then...as it may help form the next conference.
