I find it frustrating that I (and I believe others) can tune in to feelings of frustrations and anger a lot more easily than love and affection. That is in spite of the fact that I know I always feel better after I have shown compassion than I do after expresing anger. I would love to be in the loving mode more often to everybody, not just intimates. Is this a possibility or am I genetically and socially programmed to respond initially with anger when feeling threatened?
