GRIEF A Day Workshop with Caroline Brazier
Grief can be one of the most overwhelming emotions we have to face. Few of us escape experiencing acute grief at some point in our lives, and we all encounter losses, large or small, in many ways. Each loss is different. Some are sudden and unexpected, ripping our world apart and sending echoes reverberating down the years. Other losses may be anticipated, but none the less painful when they finally arrive. Some are complex, a mingling of relief and regret, of anger and sadness. Buddhist psychology sees affliction as core to the formation of the human mentality, so this workshop will provide a setting both for exploring the processes and meaning of grief. The workshop is suitable for anyone who would like to explore the topic in a group setting, though if you have been recently bereaved you may like to talk to Modgala first about how it will feel to talk in a group setting and to hear the pain of others.
Cost £25 full/ £10 concs (low paid set your own rate in between)
A light vegetarian lunch will be provided (by donation)
