Day Retreat - Disappointment, a chance for a new beginning

How can we not only live with disappointment but also come to appreciate it as part of our spiritual growth? Things all so often do not work out as we planned and frustration can overwhelm us. In this retreat we will explore our reactions and see that often the initial disappointment has led to new doors opening in our lives. But first we have to live with the feelings that come up and face reality. Together we can start to look at our lives in a different way.

Refreshments and a light vegetarian lunch will be provided.

Sister Modgala has been a Buddhist nun for over ten years. Previously she was a support worker in Scotland and trained in Applied Buddhist Psychology with Amida Trust. She has taught, held retreats, and set up and worked in various projects in Zambia, Bosnia, India, France and the UK.
